Each Academic School is hosting its own ceremony. Many are followed by a reception. The Academic School ceremony is an opportunity for each program to celebrate as a companion group of peers, host a speaker related to their disciplines, and honor each graduate as that individual walks across the stage to receive congratulations from the platform party.

Ph.D. candidates are invited to official hooding ceremonies on Wednesday, May 8th, held by The USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism; The USC Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences; The USC Marshall School of Business; The USC Rossier School of Education; and The USC Viterbi School of Engineering.

Accounting

USC Leventhal School of Accounting

The Leventhal School ceremony begins at 11:00 a.m. at Brittingham Field.

Architecture

USC School of Architecture

The Architecture School ceremony begins at 2:30 p.m. at Epstein Family Plaza (E-Quad).

Art & Design

The Roski School Ceremony begins at 11:00 a.m. in the Ronald Tutor Center Campus Ballroom.

Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy

USC Division of Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy

The Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy Division ceremony begins at 3:00 p.m. in Bovard Auditorium.

Bovard

USC Bovard College

The Bovard College School ceremony begins at 11:00 a.m. in Epstein Family Plaza (E-Quad).

Business

USC Marshall School of Business

The Marshall School ceremonies begin at 2:30 p.m. for undergraduates and 5:00 p.m. for graduates. Both ceremonies will be held at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. The Ph.D. ceremony takes place Wednesday, May 8th at Davidson Conference Center, Vineyard Room at 9:00 a.m.

The Cinematic Arts School ceremony begins at 2:30 p.m. in the Shrine Auditorium.

College of Letters, Arts and Sciences

USC Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences

The Dornsife College School ceremonies begin at 11:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. at Allyson Felix Field. The Ph.D. ceremony takes place Wednesday, May 8th at Allyson Felix Field at 11 a.m.

Communication & Journalism

The Annenberg School ceremony will begin at 11:00 a.m. in McCarthy Quad. The Ph.D. ceremony takes place Wednesday, May 8th at Annenberg Hall at 3:30 p.m.

Dance

The Kaufman School ceremony will begin at 11:00 a.m. in Founders Park.

Dentistry

Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC

The Ostrow School ceremony begins at 2:00 p.m. at Brittingham Field.

Dramatic Arts

The School of Dramatic Arts ceremonies begin at 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. at Bing Theatre.

USC Rossier School of Education

The Rossier School Master’s & MAT ceremony will begin at 3:45 p.m. in McCarthy Quad on May 10th. The doctoral hooding ceremony will take place on May 8th in McCarthy Quad at 3:00 p.m.

Engineering

USC Viterbi School of Engineering

The undergraduate school ceremony will be at 11:00 a.m. at Galen Center. The Master’s Degree Programs ceremonies begin at 3:00 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. at the Galen Center. The Ph.D. hooding ceremony will begin at 8:30 a.m. at Bovard Auditorium on Wednesday, May 8th.

The Davis School ceremony begins at 2:30 p.m. on Pardee Lawn.

Iovine and Young Academy

USC Jimmy Iovine and Andre Young Academy

The Iovine and Young Academy school ceremony begins at 11:30 a.m. in Bovard Auditorium.

The Gould School Undergraduate and JD ceremony begins at 11:00 a.m., and the Graduate and International Programs ceremony begins at 3:00 p.m. at the USC Village Great Lawn.

The Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology ceremony begins at 11:00 a.m. on May 10th at Town & Gown. The Health Promotion and Global Health Programs ceremony begins at 2:30 p.m. on May 10th at Ronald Tutor Center Campus Ballroom. The Physician Assistant Program ceremony begins at 2:30 p.m. on May 10th in Founders Park. The Ph.D., DNAP, MPH, M.S. ceremony begins at 9:15 a.m. on May 11th at the Galen Center. The M.D. ceremony begins at 3:00 p.m. on May 11th at the Galen Center.
