Was looking around for a Korean salon and found one near my place! Please support this neighborhood business. The prices are also more affordable compared to those korean salons at central areas. My assigned stylist is not very well-versed in English but she managed to understand what I wanted. I love my hair cut and the length she recommended. It did not ever get back to the state she styled for me at the salon though when I was back home 😅 Oh well! This is always the case for everyone, I just don’t have the skills or technique to do the same hehe. Still, the hair is low maintenance! You can wake up, run your fingers through and all is well. However, the root perm did make my hair a little dry afterwards and has an awkward ‘arch’. I gave it a little time to become naturally volume. Overall, I enjoyed my experience. The salon owner and my stylist were very friendly. ☺️My session was very relaxing and comfortable, I just watched my kdrama the entire time on a cushion she gave me and before I knew it, my hair was done!

Had a hair colour + cut here. very nice and cozy environment, hairstylist is friendly yet not overly chatty. she does her magic on my hair while letting me relax on my phone, and also offered drinks n snacks. really loved the experience as compared to some local salons that either hard sell or keeps talking to you. Didn’t want to damage my hair with bleaching but have always wanted to try ash blue. Finally decided to do it and Meo did a thorough consultation to understand your preference and needs before giving her suggestions. Had my hair done at You Are My Sunshine salon with their latest colour bundle. It was a really pleasant experience with Allan the director. Thoroughly enjoyed the entire 2.5hrs process as he was really very attentive and friendly, ensuring that all requests were met! All staffs there were extremely welcoming as well, really enjoyed having my treament done by the assistant Mia(?) where everything was well taken care of. The team has also promptly informed me of the unavailability of the original stylist of my appointment and efficiently made the necessary changes. Would definitely come back again. ☺️
